Products and customization

WunderMaker offers professionally authored stories that are personalized using information and photos supplied through the customizer. The product page identifies the number of personalized people, recommended story age, available languages, formats and current price.

Generated illustrations can vary. The complete book is presented for preview before it is added to the cart. A whole page can be regenerated, its versions compared and the preferred version selected.

Customer-supplied content

By uploading a photo or other content, the person placing the order confirms that they are entitled to use it for customization and production and, where another person is depicted, have the necessary authority. The content must not be unlawful, abusive or infringe another person’s rights. A limited permission is granted to process the supplied content only as needed to provide, support and fulfill the requested service and meet legal obligations.

Orders and payment

Products, prices, taxes where applicable, delivery charges and the order total are shown through the Shopify storefront and checkout. An order is placed when the checkout process is completed. An order can be refused or cancelled where payment fails, the request cannot lawfully or technically be fulfilled, or the supplied content violates these terms; any payment due back will be handled using the applicable payment process.

Preview approval and production

Before ordering, review the complete preview, spelling, selected page versions, format and delivery address. Production can begin after the order is completed, so later changes might not be possible. Preview approval does not limit the voluntary money-back guarantee or rights relating to non-conforming goods.

Delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimates are shown at checkout. Personalized books are made to order before dispatch. WunderMaker delivers without undue delay and, unless another delivery time is agreed, no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. Further information is provided in the Shipping policy.

Voluntary 100% money-back guarantee

Eligible direct purchases are covered by the 30-day 100% money-back guarantee version recorded in the order confirmation. Under version 2026-07-12-v1, the customer can contact Support within 30 days after delivery without providing a reason, defect or photograph. WunderMaker pays for the return and refunds the returned book’s net purchase price, taxes and duties collected by WunderMaker, and attributable original shipping to the original payment method at the first carrier acceptance scan, or when an approved return waiver is recorded. The applicable guarantee statement and version are provided with the order confirmation. Later changes do not reduce the version recorded for an earlier order.

Cancellation, withdrawal and conformity

Each WunderMaker book currently sold is made to the customer’s specifications and clearly personalized. Under German law (§ 312g(2) no. 1 BGB), there is no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for such goods, and this does not depend on production having started. Equivalent destination-law rules may apply. Any cancellation or change accepted before production is a voluntary service and does not create a statutory withdrawal right.

Mandatory rights for a book that is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-conforming remain free of charge and unaffected. They can include repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, price reduction or termination and refund. Consumers in the European Union ordinarily have a statutory conformity period of at least two years after delivery. Further information is provided in the Refund policy.

Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, liability is determined under applicable law.

Applicable law

German law applies without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence. Any mandatory rules about jurisdiction remain unaffected.
